If you have got staff you may love them dearly, but do you want each staff member able to do every job in the office? Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. It is important that staff can have access to Controller, customised on an individual basis. We have designed Controller so that it can be individually tailored for members of staff, preventing them from access to some parts of Controller and allowing access to others.

In addition you may want certain customers to be able to enter jobs themselves, on their own computers, in their own offices. These remotely entered jobs are then sent to the despatch screen in your office. If a customer is entering a job themselves, you certainly wouldn't want them able to alter their own charges, or being able to see other customer's accounts or jobs! The same might be true of a branch office. You might want them able to access certain jobs and accounts, but not others.

There are a total of 63 different setting which can be enabled or disabled depending on what you want a member of staff to do. If that sounds intimidating - don't worry. It's possible to allocate a user to a pre-existing bundle of security settings. You don't have to go through each setting for each member of staff, if you want them to have the same access as an existing member of staff.
