Since 1988, when we started writing software to help courier, sameday, chauffeur and taxi companies, we've come across many different ways of pricing a job to a customer, and costing a job to driver.

• Give a discount or surcharge on value of an invoice
• Calculate a pre-invoice and supply it to a customer
• Give a discount or surcharge for payment on pre-invoice
• Give a discount or surcharge dependant on payment date
• Rate per mile
• Percentage per job
• Rate per hour
• As an employee or as someone who is self-employed
• As work which was sub-contracted out to another company

Controller will cost and price automatically. What's more if a job has been done before, it can be easily recalled to check you're being consistent. We don't think there is a way of pricing, or costing, which we have not encountered and included in Controller. We'd hate to say "test us", but we're reasonably confident that you will not surprise us.
