We've thought a lot about the difficulties despatchers face. We've talked to many despatchers and we've been a despatcher. We believe we understand the problems. We've designed despatching of jobs in Controller, by using all the experience and problems encountered by despatchers in courier, sameday, chauffeur and taxi office.

Bookings are displayed in despatch time order. By that we mean that the first booking on your screen will be the one which needs to be despatched first. We're based in Brighton (well Hove actually!) and suppose we were a despatch company. We might take a booking to go to London at 3pm and one to go to Edinburgh at 3.30pm. It would be no good showing the London booking at the top of the screen, it's the Edinburgh one which we would need to despatch first. So the Edinburgh one will be shown first.

This is just one of the many features used in Controller's despatch software which makes it so intuitive, and so invaluable for your courier, sameday, chauffeur of taxi company.
