One of the truly fantastic things about computerising your office is being able to find a job quickly. If a customer rings to alter a booking, or a driver calls because they can't remember where you sent them, then you want to find the relevant job quickly. The last thing you want to do is search through wads of job tickets, while your phone is ringing with new bookings.

Where ever you are, and whatever you are doing in Controller, if you suddenly need to search for a job, you can do so with one mouse click on the search button. You can search for a job using a number of different criteria - account, driver, date, time of job and so on (for more details).

Once you've found the job you're looking for on the search screen, you can edit it/price it or print it. You can also allocate or unallocate a driver, record a pick up on board/pick up in transit/proof of delivery. You can do all of this just by highlighting the job and clicking your right mouse button.

As always in designing Controller, we've put ourselves in the position of a telephonist or despatcher in a busy office. We've talked to telephonists and despatchers, and we've designed Controller to work quickly, and intuitively. Our users can't imagine life without Controller!
