New Feature (Beta): Summary window
We are experimenting with a new feature - the Summary window.
The Summary window displays every booking you take or edit over a 24 period, all in one place. Previously if you took a booking, and then needed to find it for any reason (for example, to edit, unallocate, cancel, print, send by SMS or whatever), it could be time consuming. Now all new or edited bookings are all in one place for easy access.
Windows 7
We've tested Controller on Windows 7(32bit), and are delighted to announce it is fully compatible.
Controller is constantly being upgraded and improved. Sometimes it's little tweeks or additions, which you might not even be aware of. Other times there are big steps which improve our clients' business operations immensely.
Overnight/International Pickup Request booking
If you offer overnight or international services to your customers, then the new Automatic Pickup Request feature may save you time when taking bookings. This new feature will automatically add a 'Pickup Request' booking, whenever an overnight/international service is booked.
We at Courier Systems have always used economic downturns to concentrate on big improvements in our software. There is a saying that the word "crisis" when written in Chinese, is made from the Chinese symbol for "danger", combined with the Chinese symbol for "opportunity". According to Wikipedia ( if you're interested), it's a bit of a fallacy. That's a shame because we thinks the sentiment is right.
Anyway, we are steadily working on improving Controller so that when business picks up for our clients, we'll be there with a bigger and better Controller - if that's possible!
