Seamless emailing of invoices
We're currently putting the finishing touches on the seamless emailing of invoices from Controller. You'll be able to email customer invoices and credit notes straight from Controller. Just at a click of a mouse button. An easy to use Wizard will help you set up your very own email client. This isn't dependant on you having to buy and run Outlook, or any other email software. We wrote our own emailing client, so the cost to you is as cheap (or inexpensive as the Mercedes salesmen are always saying!) as possible.
Recent additions to make Controller the best despatch software ever
- A logger file to record all emails and text messages sent to customers, and drivers in the last 90 days. Go to "Reports > Email Log" for the report, or "System > Support > Logger Files > Email" to reset it.
- A utility to disable texting for a specific driver. At the texting window, click on "Options". To enable texting to that driver, find a job they have done in the Despatch or Search windows, right click and select "Text details to driver".
- We've added functionality, to allow notes on a booking to be amended after the booking has been invoiced. Once a booking has been invoiced, it cannot be substantially altered as it forms part of your audit trail. However, you can now edit the bookings notes even after it has been invoiced.
- We've improved the Repeat Booking feature on the Pricing Screen.
